ISRS - Adding Uniface Groups

How to add Uniface groups to my account in the Minnesota State Admin Toolbar?

Resolution or Steps 

1. Go to the Minnesota State Admin Toolbar  

2. Login with StarID and password, select Hennepin Technical College from the drop down menu, then click the Login button

3. In the top right corner, make sure institution is set to "Hennepin Technical College". Change institution as needed.

4. Select "Uniface" link under "Dashboard" menu in the left-hand margin for ISRS/Uniface rights or "Web" for web-based applications.

5. A message “No Uniface Accounts Found.  Click here to create one.” will appear on the screen.  Click on the here option to request a Uniface account.

6. If you do not see an expanded view with the "Add Uniface Groups" link, click the arrow to the right the following:

              a. My Uniface Accounts

              b. Uniface Groups for Uniface Account for {Your StarID}

      7. Click Add Uniface Groups

      8. Click Search button to list all security groups

      9. Select the needed groups
          Typical student security access used by advisers, faculty and student workers require the following boxes be checked:

     10. Click Add Checked Groups

     11. Click Save
