Office 365: Installing on Mobile Devices

If you have a Hennepin Technical College e-mail address, you have the ability to install Microsoft Office 365 on any personal device, including mobile devices (smart phones and tablets)!

Resolution or Steps 

1. Regardless of your mobile device, you will need to download each application individually from the App Store or Google Play Store
2. Once downloaded, open the app
3. Enter your StarID e-mail address and click "Next"
4. This will confirm that the e-mail is associated with Hennepin Technical College and ask for your password - Click "Sign In" once complete.

5. Your device will take a few moments to process and confirm - The following screen will appear once successful
   

6. Your credentials are automatically applied to all applicable Microsoft Office apps that were already downloaded or that you download after completing this initial setup.  

7. Please Note: Once you log into Microsoft on your mobile device, you will be prompted for the Multi-Factor Authentication. (Call, Text or MFA App)
